2016 GCGRC Supported Entry/Eye Clinic/Pot Luck/Meeting

Although at the Memorial Day Weekend Shows this year (5/27/2016-5/30/2016), there will be no GCGRC Specialty, there will be plenty of things to participate in!

So what will there be?

Supported Entries

We have a great time hosting everyone and are proud of our long-time specialty.  GCGRC will still host four days of supported entries under the following judges:

Friday 5/27: Ms. Patricia Ann Flanagan
Saturday 5/28: Mr. Robert Stein
Sunday 5/29: Mr. Edd E. Bivin
Monday 5/30: Mrs. Delores Burkholder

There will be terrific trophies and our usual atmosphere of friendly competition!

Pot-luck

We are still excited to hold our annual pot-luck meal in the grooming area the afternoon of Saturday, 5/28.  Come out and join us to break bread with friends and enjoying great conversation.

Eye clinic

Finally, just like in 2015, we will be hosting an all-breed eye clinic.  Dr. Vanessa J. Kuonen Cavens, DVM, MS, DACVO is providing CERF exams at the Butler County Fairgrounds on May 28 10AM-2PM, and if the interest requires, May 29, 2016. These will  be held during the Warren County Kennel Club of Ohio and Cincinnati Kennel Club dog shows (GCGRC Supported Entry each day) from 10am -2pm. Cost $35.00 per dog cash or check only (checks to be made out to “GCGRC”).  Although walk-ins will be accepted, preregistration is appreciated, and needed to guarantee a time slot.  For additional information and to make reservations, please contact:

Booster bath raffle!

We’re excited to announce that we will raffle off a new Booster Bath at the GCGRC Supported Entries!  What’s more exciting? We will give everyone that brings us an armband from Goldens on Saturday a free ticket!  You will be able to purchase additional tickets for $1/ticket (all breeds welcome).  During our always-fun pot luck on Saturday, 5/28, we will raffle off the Booster Bath.

Meeting

We will be holding a GCGRC General Meeting on Saturday, 5/28 in conjunction with our supported entry.
