The 2019 GCGRC Specialties will again be held over Memorial Day Weekend at the Butler County Fairgrounds. We have a packed Memorial Day weekend worth of shows for you…

• Saturday 5/25: GCGRC Specialty (Conformation/Sweeps) & Cincinnati Kennel Club all-breed dog show (supported entry), Eye clinic, and GCGRC Pot Luck
• Sunday 5/26: GCGRC Specialty (Conformation only) & Cincinnati Kennel Club all-breed dog show (supported entry), Eye clinic

This year, Roy Jones Dog Shows will be superintending our event.

Specialty Shows

The 2019 GCGRC Specialties will be held concurrently with Saturday’s and Sunday’s all-breed shows.

• Saturday 5/25: 
  Col. Jonathan C Chase (Carlisle, KY) – All Conformation
  Laura Ellis Kling (Clermont, FL) – Puppy/Veteran Sweepstakes
• Sunday 5/26:
  Ms. Gloria Kerr (Sahuarita, AZ) – All Conformation

Supported Entries (5/25 – 5/26)

We have a great time hosting everyone and are proud of our long-time specialty.  GCGRC will host four days of supported entries under the following judges:

• Saturday 5/25: Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman
• Sunday 5/26: Mr. Jamie Hubbard

There will be terrific trophies and our usual atmosphere of friendly competition!

Other Events

Pot-luck

We are still excited to hold our annual pot-luck meal in the grooming pavilion the afternoon of Saturday, 5/25, approximately 30 minutes after Best of Breed.  Come out and join us to break bread with friends and enjoying great conversation.

Eye clinic

We’re continuing our tradition we’ve cultivated for years by hosting an all-breed eye clinic.  Dr. Vanessa J. Kuonen Cavens, DVM, MS, DACVO is providing CERF exams at the Butler County Fairgrounds on May 25-26 10AM-2PM. These all-breed eye clinics will be held during the Cincinnati Kennel Club dog shows (GCGRC Specialties & Supported Entries each day). Cost $35.00 per dog cash or check (checks to be made out to “GCGRC”).  No pre-registrations accepted.  For additional information, please contact:
