2024 GRCA Central Regional Specialty

GCGRC is pleased to host the 2024 Golden Retriever Club of America Central Regional Specialty. Come join us to discover a Taste of Cincinnati! In addition to our normal Pot Luck Saturday at the show, we will have a tasing of local delicacies to fill your belly! The GRCA Central Regional will be held over two days, and will precede four days of Butler County all-breed dog shows plus two GCGRC concurrent and two GCGRC designated specialties!

Conformation and Sweepstakes will be held indoors and in air conditioning! Grooming will be about 50 feet away, outside, but under-cover. Power will be limited but generators will be allowed, provided appropriate stand-off from the grooming “pole building”. The 2024 GRCA Central Regional WC/WCX will be held at the Holzhauer Farm, approximately 50 minutes from the Butler County Fairgrounds. Entries will be taken by Entry Express and there is a limit of 20 entries per test. Carl Holzhauer (rhondaholzhauer@yahoo.com) is chairing the WC/WCX. The entry fee for the WC/WCX is $80/$85, respectively.

Conformation / Obedience / Rally
Butler County Fairgrounds : All 2024 GRCA Central Regional conformation, obedience and rally events will be held indoors in an air-conditioned building. This is also the site of four additional all-breed dog shows (Echo Hills Kennel Club of Ohio and Cincinnati Kennel Club). Two of these shows will be designated specialties and two will be supported entries. There will also be two additional Golden Retriever specialties hosted by GCGRC held concurrently with the all-breed shows 5/25-26!
CCA / WC/WCX
Holzhauer Farm: All 2024 GRCA Central Regional CCA and WC/WCX events will be held at the Holzhauer farm (CCA will be under cover). It is located approximately 50 minutes from the Butler County Fairgrounds. We will have a hamburger lunch.
A Taste of Cincinnati
After enjoying a day of watching all the beautiful Goldens in the competition, please join us for “A Taste of Cincinnati,” an opportunity to experience a sampling of authentic food that’s been served in our area for well over 50 years. There is no charge for this and we are planning this to begin roughly 30 minutes after judging is complete.
RV
The grounds will be available for parking and set-up at 2PM on Wednesday, May 22. Spots are first-come, first served and no reservations will be taken ahead of time. Jim Kent is the all-breed grounds chair and can be contacted at bobcat741@fuse.net.
